    It is becoming too common seeing people argue. Perhaps people on television news and reality shows are feeding this bad behavior, and it’s really not doing anyone any good. Venomous disagreements are worthless and defective. There has to be another way.

    On February 4, we are reviewing “Love Your Enemies: How Decent People Can Save America from the Culture of Contempt,” a book that offers an unconventional way to bridge America together. Written by Author C. Brooks, this book blends cutting-edge behavioral research and ancient wisdom to reveals we shouldn’t try to agree more.

    Malcolm Coon, Executive Book Review presenter, will give you an overview of this bestselling book, and he’ll  share some examples of how it has been applied. You will also get useful tips on how you can utilize it immediately.

Written by Edward E. Baptist, this book reveals how most important American economic innovations were ways to make slavery ever more profitable.

    Jeph Harrison, Executive Book Review guest presenter, will relay his perspective about the book, and why the author believes the U.S. became a wealthy nation with global influence. He’ll share some of the facts presented in the book through intimate slave narratives, plantation records, newspapers, and the words of politicians, entrepreneurs, and escaped slaves.
